Automation & Control Systems
We design and build manufacturing execution systems and smart manufacturing solutions that boost productivity.
From initial concept and design, through to commissioning and ongoing support packages, we’re experts in building automated manufacturing systems to help you realise your Industry 4.0 aims and boost business efficiency.
We provide a full suite of services, whether you’re looking to upgrade an existing system, resolve equipment communication issues, link to a SCADA program or design a new system from scratch.
Automating your manufacturing system creates an efficient working environment and minimises room for human error. This gives you the confidence that productivity will remain high and the freedom to re-deploy operators to better suit business needs.
We also provide ongoing support packages, including remote data monitoring and troubleshooting to minimise downtime and get you back to full productivity as quickly as possible.

What are manufacturing execution systems?
A manufacturing execution system (MES) connects, controls and monitors activity from the factory floor.
As we increase our reliance on the Internet of Things (IoT) and industry 4.0, technology like MES is an essential component in the factory of the future.
Track what’s happening in your manufacturing facility in real-time from anywhere, allowing you to get a complete picture of production lifecycle, productivity output and identify areas of concern.

What is the benefit of smart manufacturing solutions?
- Efficiency – unlike traditional set-ups that require employees to know complex sequences and timings, simply press a button and let the system run the line for you, minimising room for human error
- Minimise downtime – remote monitoring allows us issues to be identified quickly, without paying engineer’s travel time and waiting for a solution
- Better use of resources – operators don’t need to monitor the control panel once line is running, allowing them to be used elsewhere
- Secure remote technical support and troubleshooting
We recently installed sensors on existing plant equipment to monitor and log oil tank capacities. An integral part of the project success was the ability for users to access this data outside of the internal IT systems using data-only sim cards within the control panel modules that transferred logs to the cloud.
