The successful candidate will have qualifications in a recognised mechanical engineering discipline, with a minimum of 3 years’ draughting experience. Excellent knowledge of modelling software is a must, preferably Solid Edge and AutoCAD, including tolerancing and assemblies.
Responsibilities will include:
- Producing drawings and specifications that permit the projects team to implement client projects, data and presentations
- Supporting engineering design development
- Producing general arrangement, production and detailed drawings/parts lists using both in-house and client-provided information
- Assisting with the development of custom-design software and techniques
- Producing information to safely meet client and in house deadlines and to advise early of any anticipated delays
You will be an experienced and qualified Project Engineer, passionate about delivering real results for clients, with real-world skills developed within technical environments, preferably including the food & beverage sector.
You will be involved across the full project management lifecycle, from feasibility & design to installation, commissioning and after care support.
Relevant qualifications should be demonstrated on your application along with main areas of interest for future development.
You will be working in complex industrial environments, analysing both existing systems performance and designing and installing new solutions. Technical design, analysis, reporting and effective client liaison are all key to the role. Our clients are global and include both large-scale and smaller operators, all of for whom we deliver excellence and a real passion for delivering results.
You will be joining a family-feel team environment with opportunities for working across a range of projects and environments, with a healthy mix of office and on-site work.
This senior role will involve managing the delivery of high-profile engineering projects across a number of sectors, including Food & Beverage.
You will help define review and execute project scope, as well as overseeing project deliverables, budgets and procurement processes. You will be the main client point of contact on your projects, overseeing both internal, third-party and off-site teams, depending on individual project requirements.
You will contribute to the ongoing innovation and improvement of our company’s own internal processes here at FEG, collaborating with all members of our friendly and supportive projects team.
You will come with all of the qualifications, skills and experience expected of a Senior Project Engineer and will be fully conversant with all relevant codes, standards, regulatory frameworks and current industry legislation and technological developments. Your proven track record will show your experience at all stages of project delivery and your ability to work with and lead others at all levels.
