We were initially approached by the Client to undertake an LEV survey of the site to identify problems with the ventilation system and to propose solutions.
There was a range of measures required to meet the client’s current needs across a number of laboratories. One major part of the works was the design and installation of stack support systems on the roof.
Our client had received a noise complaint through the local authority; however, the source was not identified. They needed to identify and address the issue but ensure the ventilation for the factory was not compromised. In fact, the client chose to look at ventilation improvements as part of the study.
There was a perceived negative pressure in the production facility causing a range of dust migration and maintenance issues.
To meet DSEAR regulations there was a requirement to provide extraction to valve sets so in the event of any leaks there would be effective containment.
