Client Andrex came to us experiencing fugitive dust issues within a tissue converting line.  Despite hoods and enclosures included on the original specification the excessive dust was still causing background dust issues.
Our client Essentia came to us after having received an environmental notice for an industrial odour issue from its proteins frying factory. Our experience showed us that a typical combination of scrubbers would not be adequate for this project, given the variation in contaminants that had to be removed from the air.
Our team of odour experts worked to develop a new liquid gas scrubber* solution that worked in a 3-stage process to remove all composites from the gas.
In this factory project we needed to find a way to stop heat from a conveyor concentrating in one area, which would cause a worker comfort and building regulations issue for our client.
An existing customer was manually measuring the output product density from a process machine, then using this to manually adjust a water flow to theprocess to control this density at a desired level.
We were initially approached by the Client to undertake an LEV survey of the site to identify problems with the ventilation system and to propose solutions.
There was a range of measures required to meet the client’s current needs across a number of laboratories.  One major part of the works was the design and installation of stack support systems on the roof.
Our client manufactures production machinery used for the manufacture of batteries; these are sold world-wide.  For one application they wanted a means of collecting lead dust close to the machine prior to the air entering the main filtration system.
There was a perceived negative pressure in the production facility causing a range of dust migration and maintenance issues.
To meet DSEAR regulations there was a requirement to provide extraction to valve sets so in the event of any leaks there would be effective containment.
