FEG makes charity donation on behalf of customers

We’re proud to share that we’ve made charity donations worth £400 to thank our customers for taking part in user research activity for our new website.

When we partnered with CX Marketing to develop our marketing and customer experience strategy, one of the first things we discussed was the need for our website to reach the right people. CX explained that the best way to do that was through extensive user research.

Our customers are busy people and we wanted to reward them for generously giving up their time to take part in a series of interactive user engagement surveys, so we decided to make donations to charities of their choice as a thank you.

Thanks to the support of our customers, we have made donations to charities including LOROS Hospice, which provides free care and support to terminally ill patients and their families across Leicestershire and Rutland, and Global Radio’s Make Some Noise, which supports small charities looking after vulnerable people across the UK.

Make Some Noise is currently focusing on helping communities which have been hardest hit by coronavirus, including supporting people struggling with issues such as mental health, poverty, domestic abuse, caring responsibilities and grief.

At a time when many people across the UK are struggling, we’re delighted to have been able to offer some support to these two very worthy causes.

We’d like to thank everyone who took part for their invaluable contribution to this user research, which has helped us develop a user-friendly website that meets our audience’s needs.

It was refreshing for FEG to consider buyers opinions on the content of their website and I considered it a good use of my time to help out.

Buyers often have limited time for supplier research, so to have input into what it’s important to see immediately and the depth of content will help them get the information they need quickly – and also help FEG attract their target audience.

It was also wonderful to hear that FEG made a charitable donation to such a worthy cause in return for my help.
