Cookie Policy
Our website cookies and how they are used in your experience with us.
What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device through your browser when you visit a website. Our website uses cookies to provide you with the very best experience we can. Almost every website on the internet uses cookies technology.
Cookies do many things, such as letting you move between the site pages correctly, optimising the content you are shown or making adverts you see more relevant to you.
Opting in to Cookies
By enabling cookies or keeping cookies enabled while using the site you are providing consent that we can place these cookies on your device.
Types of Cookies
First- and Third-party cookies
First-party cookies are those tracked and stored by the website you are visiting. They allow us to remember things like language settings, collect analytics and help optimise your web experience.
Third-party cookies are those created and tracked by websites other than the one for visiting but where they own some of the content on there, e.g. an embedded Youtube video, and are typically used for marketing purposes.
Persistent and Session cookies
Persistent cookies will stay on your device for a set time unless you delete them. Session cookies will only stay on your device during the session you are on the website and will be forgotten once you close your browser.
Which cookies do we use?
We use cookies for different reasons on our website:
- To make our website function correctly, providing you with the best online experience we can (necessary cookies)
- To remember your preferred settings during website visits both immediate and in future (preferences cookies)
- To collect information about how you use our site (performance cookies)
Third-Party Marketing Cookies
Some of our cookies used within our site are provided by third parties or marketing partners. We use these because we want to be able to provide you with more tailored and seamless marketing and communications across all of the channels on which we interact with you (email, website and social platforms.)
These cookies enable us to do that better by allowing these partners to collect data on your interaction with our site and combine it with your interaction with content on other platforms such as LinkedIn and email. Understanding how you have interacted with our content across multiple platforms allows us to provide you with more relevant communications and advertising.
We might also use something called web beacons or browser storage. These allow us to store some data across a number of times that you might use the site from the same device or tell us when you may have visited a particular piece of content such as an email or a newsletter.
The cookies we use in this respect are:
Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics to track and collect data relating to your website visit such as the pages you visit, how long you spend on each page, how you arrived at the site and what you click on while you’re visiting the site.
