FEG delivers specialist services for CPI’s new Advanced Materials Better Industrialisation Centre (AMBIC)
We were delighted to support FEG client, the Centre for Process Innovation (CPI), and the launch of its new Advanced Materials Battery Industrialisation Centre (AMBIC) in County Durham recently.
FEG Global was engaged at the start of this multi-million development programme to deliver specialist design, surveying and engineering support (and solutions), as well as construction works for this ground-breaking R&D and scale-up facility.
The state-of-the-art centre, which helps drives the rapid development and scaling up of battery innovations and materials to strengthen the UK’s wider battery ecosystem, saw specialised environmental, industrial and engineering designs being delivered by the FEG Global team. Bespoke ductwork and ventilation systems were also installed to accommodate and eliminate particles generated by ‘powder to prototype’ products at all stages of development.
This is a flagship site for the UK that will become a catalyst for breakthrough products, fast-tracking the country’s net zero ambitions.
We are delighted to be part of it.
CPI is an innovation catalyst for the adoption of advanced tech and manufacturing solutions that benefit people, places, and the planet. The organisation brings together academia, businesses, government and investors to translate bright ideas and research into the marketplace.
